Etsy Conversion Rate Calculator
Enter visits and orders from the same Etsy Shop Manager period. This calculator uses orders ÷ visits × 100 to show your Etsy shop conversion rate without applying an unsupported universal target.
Calculate your Etsy shop conversion rate
Enter non-negative whole numbers from the same Etsy Shop Manager date range. Your calculation stays in your browser and requires no account connection.
÷How do you calculate Etsy conversion rate?
Etsy conversion rate = orders ÷ visits × 100. Use visits and orders from the same Shop Manager reporting period. For example, 12 orders from 600 visits gives an Etsy conversion rate of 2%: 12 ÷ 600 × 100 = 2%.
This is illustrative arithmetic, not a claim that 2% is typical or suitable for every Etsy shop.
How do you use the Etsy conversion rate calculator?
Keep the inputs and reporting period consistent before interpreting the percentage.
Choose one reporting period
Open Etsy Shop Manager statistics and choose the complete date range you want to measure.
Enter visits and orders
Use total visits and total orders from that exact same period. Do not combine different date ranges.
Calculate and record the result
Select the calculate button, then save the date range beside the percentage and raw numbers.
Compare equivalent periods
Compare periods of the same length when practical and note material changes in traffic, products, promotions, or inventory.
What does an Etsy conversion rate show?
Your result shows how many orders your shop recorded per 100 visits during the period entered. Keep the raw visits and orders beside the percentage: one additional order can move the rate much more when the number of visits is small.
The rate does not explain why performance changed, prove profitability, reveal a competitor's private rate, or establish one standard for every product, traffic source, season, and shop. Review revenue, fees, costs, and margins separately.
Compare equivalent periods
Compare complete periods of the same length when possible. Note changes in traffic sources, product mix, promotions, inventory, pricing, and seasonality before attributing a movement to one cause.
Why is the benchmark guide separate?
This calculator uses your private orders ÷ visits inputs. The Etsy conversion-rate benchmark methodology covers bounded marketplace observation evidence based on a different measure. That evidence is not private shop conversion and does not reveal exact Etsy orders.
Do not compare those marketplace proxy values numerically with your calculator result as though they measure the same thing. Use the guide for its evidence window, cohort, sample-size context, and limitations.
What should you investigate next?
The result points to a question; it does not identify a cause. Review changes in:
- traffic sources and buyer intent;
- listing mix, inventory, images, descriptions, and variations;
- prices, discounts, fees, costs, and delivery information;
- reviews, policies, buyer questions, promotions, and seasonality.
Change one major variable at a time when practical, record the date, and compare another complete period before drawing a conclusion.
Need public shop and listing context?
Shop Analyzer supports research into public shop, catalog, listing, positioning, and estimated performance signals. Use that context to form questions—not to claim access to a competitor's private visits, exact orders, or conversion rate.
